Modified lyophilized alive vaccine used against infective bursal disease.

Composition and characteristics:

Biovac is a modified alive vaccine, which is used against infective and bursal diseases. It is made from high immunogenic and safe strain. SPF eggs are used for making of Biavac vaccine.

Effects: Biavac is used in healthy broilers and chickens, Also it is used in hens that are sensitive to disease for prevention bursal disease. It is used for immunization of healthy chickens that live in the poultry factory, which is the place of disease.
 

Dosage:

Vaccination is carried out considering chicken category and level of antibodies transmitted by mother. Vaccination is carried out, if the level of antibodies is low. Vaccination scheme contains one, two or three vaccinations. Number of vaccination depends of epidemiological status, chicken species and conditions of hatching. For obtaining the best results vaccination is carried out when chickens are 10-12 days old. Need of the next vaccination is determined by the level on antibodies and/or epidemiological condition. Vaccine must be used immediately after dilution.

Mass immunization (through drinking water): Drinking method is very important in such cases. Drinking water must not include disinfectants and other medicines 48 hours earlier the vaccination and 24 hours after the vaccination. Drinking equipment must be washed by clean water. Chickens must not be given water 2-4 hours before the vaccination. Chicken dwelling must be equipped so that two-third of chickens were able to drink water simultaneously. It is recommended to add milk powder to solvent water in the following quantity – 25g in 10 liters of drinking water. Vaccine is diluted in the following amount of water: 1000 doze in 10 liters of water, 2500 dozes in 25 liters of water and 5000 dozes in 50 liters of water. Dosage for chickens that are 10 days old – 10 ml for each chicken, for 14 days olds – 15 ml for each chicken.

Individual vaccination (dripping into eyes): 1000 dozes of vaccine are diluted in 50ml solvent, 500 dozes are diluted in 25 ml of solvent. One drop of solvent is dropped in each eye.

Contraindication: Vaccine isn’t used with clinically diseased poultry.

Withdrawal time:7 days;

Safety measures: Don’t exceed recommended dosage. Empty bottles and unused vaccine must be destructed.

How supplied: Container including 1000 dozes;

Storage conditions and shelf life:

Vaccine is kept at the temperature of 2-8⁰C, in the area that is protected from light. Shelf life: 24 months.
