Atenuirated alive vaccine against Newcastle disease


Composition:


Vaccine contains low virulency Newcastle disease virus strain of alive liofilized LaSota. One dose contains min. 106,5EID50ND virus.

 
Effects:

It is recommended to use vaccine in healthy chickens, turkeys, pigeons, guinea-fowl, pheasant, and quails for vaccination of Newcastle disease. Vaccine is used for primary vaccination and re-vaccination;


Dosage:


Newvac Lasota is dripped in eyes or is given together with drinking water. It is recommended to carry out the first vaccination at the age of 10-11 days. Revaccination is carried out a week later from the first vaccination.

 

Preparation of vaccine:


Add solvent or non-disinfected fresh water to liofilized substance. Cover the container with rubber cap and shake until it doesn't dilute. Vaccine must be used immediately after preparation.

Dripping into eyes: one drop of prepared vaccine (50 dose/5ml) is dripped in each eye. Pipette size must be determined so that 1ml of vaccine included 20 drops.

Vaccination via drinking of water: Drinking water must not include disinfectants or other medicines 48 hours earlier and 24 hours post vaccination. Drinking equipment must be washed with clean water. Chicken must not be given any water 2-4 hours prior the vaccination.

Water: Poultry dwelling must be organized so that 2/3 of hens could drink water simultaneously. Prepared vaccine is added to non-disinfected water and is given in following dose: 10ml/1 chicken (30 day olds) and 20ml/one chicken (for chicken that are older than 30 days).

Chickens aren't given other water until they don't finish vaccinated water;      
 

Contraindications:


Vaccination isn't carried out

    In clinically diseased poultry, in case of lack of feeding and metabolism disorder;
    In 10-14 days after vaccination;
    During egg-laying period;
    During feather-change period;
    Before or after transportation;


Withdrawal period: 7 days;


Special indications:



    Newcastle virus can cause eye inflammation in people that lasts for 2-3 days. Thus staff must avoid vaccine's contact with eyes;
    Vaccine must be prepared in amount that is used immediately after preparation;
    Empty bottles and unused vaccine must be destroyed;

Storage conditions and shelf life:


Drug is kept in the place that is protected from light, at 2-8ºC temperature. Shelf life - 24 months from the date of production;
