Injection solution

 

Composition:

Each ml contains: 10mg of  Ivermectin and 100mg of Clorsulon.

 

Pharmacological characteristics:

Ivermectin has a composition that is obtained from hydrogenation of natural compositions of macrolitic structure, which is obtained from bacterial culture of Streptomyces avermilitis.

Ivermectin consists of 22.23 dihydroavermectin B1a(H₂B1a) 80% and 22.23 dihydroavermectin B1b(H₂B1b). Ivermectin increases secretion of gamma-amino-butyric acid that triggers destruction of transmitting of nervous impulses, which causes death of parasites. Spectrum of its activities is rather wide. It is effective even in case when administered at a very low dose. After taking the medicine, it is spread over the whole organism. A big amount of it is distributed to liver and fat tissues. It is excreted from organism via bile, milk and partially via urine.

Effects:

Vilmectin F is a drug with wide spectrum of endo and echtoparasite effect. It is used for treatment and protection of cattle from inner and outer parasites:

Cattle:

Trematodes: Fasciola Hepatica (worm stage), F. Gigantica (worm stage).

Large-mouthed bowel worms: ostertagia spp, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus spp., Cooperia spp., Oesophagostomum radiatum, Nematodirus spp., Strongylodes papillosus., Chabertia ps,. Bunostomum phlebotomum. Lung worms: Dictycaulus viviparous. Outer parasites: Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatium larva, ticks, mange and louse.

Dosage:

Vilmectin F is injected under the skin.

Its dosage is 1ml (0.2mg/kg) on 50kg/bw, if isn't otherwise prescribed by a doctor.

Clorsulon: 1ml (0.2mg/kg) on 50kg/bw;

If dose is more than 10ml, injection must be made in two different places.

Side effects:

Swells and itching on the area of injection are reported very seldom.

Overdose:

* No side effects are reported if drug is given in therapeutic dose;

* In case of overdose symptom therapy is carried out;

* Drug can be used with gamma-butyriacid antagonist drugs, such as: Picrotoxin, pentilentetrazol, fizostigmin.

Relation with other medicines:

Wasn't reported;

Withdrawal period:

TPDR (period of complete withdrawal of drug from the organism): It isn't allowed to slaughter animals for meat consumption purposes during treatment period and during 35 days after the last administration of medicine.

It isn't recommended to use drug in animals with lactation period.

General warnings:

Contact the doctor before usage the drug and in case of not desired effects.

Keep the drug out of reach of children.

Precaution measures:

Try not to touch the drug and after injection wash hands.

Contraindications:

Dogs of collie species and horses are high sensitive to drug. It isn't allowed to use drug until 60^th day of gestation and for 28 days till parturition.

Selling conditions:

Drug is sold on the basis of prescription in veterinary institutions and chemists.

How supplied:

20ml, 50ml and 100ml colorless glass bottles are placed in paper boxes.

Storage conditions and shelf life:

It is kept in the area that is protected from light at the room temperature (15-25°C).
