Combination of Selenium and Vitamin E

Composition: Sodium selenite – 410 mg, Vitamin E – 210,000 mg, Vitamins A and D3, and others.

Pharmacological Properties:

Studies confirm that oral administration of minerals and vitamins in animals is more effective than injections. The same applies to selenium, as it circulates in the body bound to proteins.

Deficiency of selenium and Vitamin E in young animals such as lambs, kids, foals, and calves leads to white muscle disease, characterized by muscle degeneration and discoloration, negatively affecting growth and development. Additionally, animals with weakened immune systems are more susceptible to other diseases.

In adult animals, deficiency of selenium and Vitamin E negatively affects health, productivity, and the immune system. It also increases the incidence of mastitis and metritis.

In addition to Vitamin E and selenium, Orasel E also contains Vitamins A and D, which are essential for the proper growth and development of young animals.

Indications for Use

Easy to use, less stressful, and significantly safer for animals. There is no risk of abscess formation at the injection site.

• Young animals (lambs, kids, calves): Selenium and Vitamin E are essential for muscle development, maintaining healthy muscle structure, and improving resistance to diseases. Vitamins A and D support proper growth and development.

• Adult animals (sheep, goats, cattle): Selenium, Vitamin E, and Vitamins A and D support productivity, overall health, and help prevent selenium-related abortions in sheep.

Dosage and Administration

During use, hold the bottle upside down, place the applicator in the animal’s mouth, and press the mechanism to administer the product.
(Each press delivers 1 ml)

• Lambs and kids (up to 15 days): 1 ml (1 press)

• Lambs and kids (up to 30 days): 1–2 ml (1–2 presses)

• Newborn calves: 1–2 ml (1–2 presses)

• Growing calves: 3 ml (3 presses)

• Pregnant sheep (at 3 months): 2–3 ml (2–3 presses)

• Cows (after the 5th month of pregnancy): 6–10 ml (6–10 presses)

• Horses: 6–8 ml (6–8 presses)

Lambs should receive the product during suckling and starting from the 3rd month of gestation.

Warnings

Shake well before use. Turn the bottle upside down and press the applicator several times to ensure proper dispensing. Do not administer to animals without a swallowing reflex.

Shelf Life

18 months from the date of manufacture.
