Amoxicillin, Ciprofloxacin
Biotecsi, Georgia
Peroral powder
Composition:
AC 555 is a combined drug, it includes to active substances: Amoxicillin and Ciprofloxacin.
1g drug contains: ciprofloxacin – 200mg; amoxicillin – 100mg; lactose – 700mg.
Pharmacological activity:
Amoxicillin – is half synthesized antibiotic, which is used for treatment of infective diseases caused by gram-positive and gram-negative micro-organisms that are sensitive to penicillin, such as Haemophilius, Klebsiella, Pseudomonas, Pasteurella, Salmonella, penicillin negative Staphilococcus and Streptococcus. It suppresses synthesis of bacteria cell walls. It is used for treatment of respiratory infections (bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, pneumonia, pleurisy, after virus disease complications), intestine and urine-sex system infections, infections that are caused after surgery or by micro-organisms that are sensitive to amoxicillin, especially infections caused by Staphylococcus and Streptococcus.
Ciprofloxacin – is an anti-bacteria drug that belongs to flouride-quinolone group. It is wide spectrum bactericide drug and its bactericide effect depends on the level of concentration.
In 20-30 minutes after administration of ciprofloxacin, bactericide cells that are sensitive to drug start dying.
Ciprofloxacin shows post-antibiotic effect against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, both in latent phase and in the period of bacteria reproduction.
Drug inhibits bacteria DNA-gyraze, activity mechanism is connected with inhibition of ferment gyraze (II type of topoizomerases), which damages super-helimerization and process of DNA synthesis.
It is active against gram negative bacteria and cocci, including different kinds of strain – Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Klebsiella sp, Ecoli, Enterobacter, Campylobacter, da Vibrio, Salmonella, Pasteurella, Clostridum, Staphilococcus, Streptococcus, Haemophilius etc.
Effects:
AC 555 includes wide spectrum of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. It is used for treatment of such infective diseases that are caused by Salmonella, Pasteurella, Clostridum, Staphilococcus, Streptococcus, Haemophilius etc.
After peroral administration drug is absorbed form intestine tract of poultry and is distributed to tissues and organs. Maximal concentration is reached after 6 hours, which is preserved for 6 hours. Therapeutic concentration is preserved for 24 hours.
