Indications:

Furazolidone is used for treatment and prevention of bacterial infections of agricultural animals and poultry.

Poultry - histomoniasis, trichomoniasis, keel disease, eimeriosis;

Swine - balantidiosis, bacillary dysentery, colibacillosis, keel disease.

Furazolidone is administered per-orally together with food or individually at following doses:

It is used in adolescents:

Chickens  – histomoniasis, keel disease, trichomoniasis, eimeriosis - 2,5 – 3 mg/kg live bodyweight, for 5-8 days;

Calves and piglets - balantidiosis, bacillary dysentery, colibacillosis, keel disease:

Calves - 4-5mg/kg live bodyweight, 3-5 days.

Piglets  – 10 mg/kg live bodyweight, 3-7 days.   

Dogs and cats -  is used in case of colitis caused by ameba - 2,2 mg/kg live bodyweight, once every 8 hours, for 7 days.

Storage conditions: it is kept in a dry place that is protected from light, at 18-25°С temperature.

Shelf life: 2 years.
