Indications

Injection solution is used against endoparasites and ectoparasites in cattle breeding for processing of cattle, camels, sheep, goats and swine.

Cattle, camels: Against endoparasites and ectoparasites: gastro-intestinal nematodes - Ostertagia ostertagi, O.lyrata, Haemonchus placei, Trichostrongylus axei, T. colubriformis, Cooperia oncophora, C. Punctata, C. pectinata, Oesophagostomum radiatum, Bunostomum phlebotonum (only grown-up forms), Nematodirus helvetianus (only grown-up forms); N Nematodirus spathiger (only grown-up forms);

Lung nemtodes - Dictyocaulus viviparus (grown up forms and worms that are at the 4th stage of development).
Worms (three stages of parasites) -  Hypoderma bovis, Hypoderma lineatum.

Sucking lice - Linognathus vituli, Haematopinus eurysternus, Solenopotes capillatus.

Ticks - Sarcoptes scabiei, Psoroptes bovis (bovis).

Swine – Against endoparasites and ectoparasites:

Nematodes of gastrointestinal tract (grown up helminthes and helminthes that are in the 4th stage of development)

–Askarida suum, Hyostrongylus rubidus, Oesophagostomum spp. (only grown forms).

Lung nematodes – Metastrongylus spp. (grown forms).

Lice: Haematopinus suis; ticks: Sarcoptes scabiei.

Sheep, goats: Against endoparasites and ectoparasites:

Gastro-intestinal tract helminthes (grown up and undeveloped) Haemonchus contortus, Ostertagia circumcincta, O.trifurcata, Trichostrongylus axei (only grown-up forms), T.vitrinus (only grown-up forms), T. colubriformis, Nematodirus filicollis, Cooperia curticei, Oesophagostomum columbianum, O. venosum, Chabertia ovina, Truchuris ovis (only grown-up forms); Lungs nematodes: (grown-up forms and undeveloped forms): Dictyocaulus filaria, Protostrongylus rufescens.

Sheep oestrus: Oestrus ovis (at all stage of worms).

Ticks: Sarcoptes scabiei, Psoroptes communis (Ovis).

Presentation: injection solution in 5 ml glass ampoule, 10ml, 20ml, 50ml, 100ml and 500 ml orange glass vials.

Rules of usage and dosage:

The medicine is injected subcutaneously as a single dose.

Cattle, camel, sheep and goats – 1ml biomectin injection solution is injected at 50 kg live bodyweight (which is equivalent to 0,2mg ivermectin at 1 kg live bodyweight).

Swine – 1,5 ml biomectin injection solution is injected at 50 kg live bodyweight (which is equivalent to 0,2 mg ivermectin at 1 kg live bodyweight);

Storage conditions: It is kept in a dry place that is protected from light at a temperature that doesn’t exceed 25°C. It is kept out of reach of children.

Shelf life: 3  years.
