Composition:
Each dose (2ml) contains antigen of “brucella abortusS-19” -1ml, maltose solution (40%) – 0.125ml, gelatin solution (10%) – 0.05ml, saccharose solution – (40%) – 0.025ml and phosphate buffer solvent – 0.8ml (quantity – up to 20 ml).
Pharmacological characteristics:
Vaccine contains 19 active bacteria of “brucella abortus” strain. It is a light yellow powder and contains 19 active bacteria of "brucella abortus". It is granulated. Each dose contains no less than 40 x 109 active bacteria.
Effects:
Bruvax is a granulated vaccine and it is used against brucellosis (contagious abortion) in cattle.
Composition:

Dilution:
Cool the solvent before dilution. Place a little amount of solvent in the bottle with granulated drug and mix well until getting of homogenous suspense. Put the suspense in the bottle of solvent and mix well.
Dosage:
Vaccination must be carried out in female serologically positive calves of 4-8 months old. Vaccination dosage – 2ml;

Vaccine is injected under the skin
Precaution:
Keep the diluted vaccine in ice.
Use the diluted vaccine immediately. It isn’t recommended to use vaccine partially and keep the reminder in the freezer or in the fridge.
It isn’t designed in humans.
Carry out disinfection/sterilization of used syringes, bottles, needles and gloves after usage.
Side effects:
No side effects were reported. Body temperature may increase slightly and injection area may swell, which well be eliminated soon.
If vaccination is carried out correctly, no side effects will be revealed. One vaccination is enough for development of immunity, but vaccine doesn’t ensure full immunity in animals. Vaccine may infect people by means of accidental infection. In such cases relevant treatment must be carried out immediately. Gloves and simple protective eye-glasses must be used during vaccination.
Contraindication:
Don’t vaccinate pregnant animals.
Disposal of used vessels:
Empty vessels, used syringes and needles must be thrown away with care.
How supplied:
#1 bottle includes 5 dozes, (granulated) and sterile solvent, 1 bottle – 10ml.
Transportation, storage conditions and shelf life:
Vaccine must be transported and kept at the 20C – 80C temperature. Antigen characteristics of vaccine are reduced, if the temperature goes up the mentioned limit, reduction of features depends on temperature and time. Keep the vaccine out of reach of children.
Shelf life: 12 months.
