Composition:

Oxytetracycline hydrochloride. . . . 100 mg

Pharmacological characteristics:

Oxytetracycline is characterized with wide spectrum of antibacterial activities. It is active against gram-positive and gram-negative germs, rickettsia and some big viruses;

Effects:

It is used against diseases that are sensitive to Oxytetracycline hydrochlorate such as: colibacteriosis, salmonelosis, pasterelosis, swine, erysipelas, anthrax, pneumonia with non-virus etymology, gastroenterocolitis, mastitis, endometritis, vaginitis etc.

Dosage:

Drug is injected in vein and in muscles;

Recommended dose for cattle, sheep and goats - 10mg 1kg b/w (1ml on 10kg b/w);

Side effect:

No side effects are reported but it can cause loss of appetite, skin allergy in some cases;

Contraindication:

Individual sensitiveness to antibiotics of tetracycline group; It isn't recommended to use drug during gestation period;

Presentation:

Vials of 50ml and 100ml;

Storage conditions and shelf life:

List B; Drug is kept in dark and dry area at 5-25⁰ C temperature.
