Inactivated vaccine for injection under the skin

Composition:

Each dose (3ml) contains: Antigen of haemorrhagic septicemia and emphysematosa carbuncle;

 

Pharmacological characteristics:

Raksha HS+BQ vaccine is recommended for preventive vaccination of  haemorrhagic septicemia (pasterelosis)  caused by pasteurella multocida and emphysematosa carbuncle caused by clostridium chauvoei in cattle, calves and buffalos. Antibodies are created in organism during 2-3 weeks after vaccination. Disease control is possible in case of regilar vaccination.

 
Effects:

Prevention of haemorrhagic septicemia (pasterelosis)  and emphysematosa carbuncle in cattle, calves and buffalos.
 

Dosage:

Initial vaccination is carried out from the age of 6 months in the following dosage: 3 ml single dose; Injection is made under the skin. Injection area must be processed well before the vaccination in order to avois contamination. Shake before usage.

Revaccination is carried out annually.

Revaccination regimen: Unfavorable climate conditions such as off-season rains, winds and other may sause stress in animals. Thus, it is recommended to carry out vaccination during favorable climate conditions.

Overdosing doesn't have negative effects. Double dose is safe for animals;

 

Side effects:

No side effects are reported. Small swells may appear in some cases, which disappear themselves. Hyper sensitivity may occur very seldom. Antihystamine drugs must be administered in such cases;

 
Contraindications:

Contraindications are reported, if drug is used in diseased animals;


Withdrawal period:

Isn't needed;
 

Presentation:

Polypropylene vials of 90ml;


Usage of drug during gestation period:

Drug can be used during gestation period, but it must be used precautiosly during the first period of gestation in order to avoid abortion;


Storage conditions and shelf life:

Vaccine must be kept at 20 - 80C temperature. It isn't allowed to freeze vaccine. Vaccine must be kept in dry and dark place. It can be used during 24 months after manufacturing if storage conditions are observed;
